First-ever baguette festival honours popular national delicacy
Nguyen Thi Khanh, chairman of the Ho Chi Minh Tourism Association, says each visitor is able to find baguette with countless options available throughout the festival. The festival features a total of 120 pavilions of domestic and foreign restaurants, hotels, baguette shops, suppliers, and businesses. The event also includes a ceremony which seeks to honour top long-standing and famous baguette brands in Vietnam, as well as a workshop on the development of Banh Mi in the country. The organisers plan to hold the festival over the following years to popularize the Vietnamese delicacy globally. The baguette is a popular dish in Vietnam.
